PRODUCT RE-COLORING SERVICES FOR UNDER ARMOUR
Our Client
The client we served is an American Company- Under Armour which manufactures footwear, sports and casual apparel. It is one of the most loved and favorite shoe brand in the athletic category. The brands heritage, product quality, strong endorsement deals and innovation over the years has made it a great sports company. The brand has more than 100+ stores worldwide and successfully operates through their e-commerce website.
Project prerequisite
The client approached to avail our recoloring services. They wanted to re-color shoes into various other colors in accordance to the digital swatches provided by them. The project comprised 200 images to be delivered within 24 hours and each shoe had at least 5-6 color swatches. The client wanted consistent high-quality images and within 24 hours.
Project Challenges
Some of the challenges we faced are-
- The files transferred to us were large in size, which- even with updated equipment, required significant time to complete the download.
- The client wanted edited images within 24 hours
- Background Change
- Some of the shoes had complex designs
What we did
Post downloading the images the clipping path expert made even cut outs of the shoes. After completing the clipping path, the magic happened with the retouching experts. The retouching experts in accordance to digital color swatches provided by the client re-colored shoes into multiple colors also removed dust or spots from the shoes, color-corrected, and altered the background to pure white; without losing its authentic texture and design. After editing all the images they went through QC(Quality Check). After meticulously examining each and every image, the compiled project was sent back to the client in JPEG and TIFF format on their FTP server.
Outcome Achieved
With accurately re-colored shoes the client curtailed a lot of time shooting each and every shoe. With prompt delivery, the client was able to deliver the images to their customers ahead of time. We were quickly able to decipher the customer’s requirements and thereafter follow the customer’s style guide for the work. By effectively meeting the required expectations, our client was able to benefit from a significant increase in sales.
